The finals of a pulsating series of Rugby Union matches in the Year 10 / 11 Boys Championships were held at West Bridgford Rugby Union Club on 11th October.

Following 2 rounds of league fixtures held in September and early October teams were split into a Championship group and Plate group.

In the plate Farnborough, Ellis Guilford and Bluecoat played off in a round robin, and after some close fought matches Farnborough came through with 2 wins to take the Plate gold medals.

In the Championship Play Offs, unbeaten Djanogly took on Trinity in a final that provided an enthralling display of hard fought, physical and high intensity rugby. In a game that went end to end with both teams trading tries the result was always in doubt, but eventually Djanogly's powerful and skilful diplay took the gold medals in the schools first ever foray into the sport.
